Regular Dayton Singings
Our regular singings are held from 3:00 - 6:00 PM on the 4th Sunday of each month, from September through May. These singings are held at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior (LCOS) in Oakwood, Ohio (get directions). We sing from both The Sacred Harp, 1991 Edition (Denson Revision) and The Sacred Harp (Cooper Revision) books. Loaner books will be available for visitors to use, but you may also purchase a book for $20. There is a delicious carry-in potluck at each of our regular singings, and we break for supper at about 4:30 PM.

18th Annual Ohio State Sacred Harp Convention
Dayton-area Sacred Harp Singers extend a hearty welcome to singers, friends and all who are interested...for two days of fellowship, learning and singing from the Sacred Harp.
- February 20th and 21st, 2010
Brookville, Ohio is located at exit 21 just off I-70, 20+ miles east of the Indiana State line and about 10+ miles west of the I70 - I75 interchange, just north of Dayton. When exiting the interstate go south to the traffic light & turn left. The entrance to the Golden Gate Park is 100 feet or so.
Saturday the 20th --
($5 fee for folks 16 yrs and older to help cover expenses.)
- Shape Note/Sacred Harp Singing School taught by Tim Eriksen from 9am to 5pm.
- Saturday evening Supper and Social beginning at 6:30. Bring your fiddles, banjos, guitars, mandolins, etc. for a pickin' and grinin' session.

Sunday the 21st --
(Free/No Charge. Come and apply what you learned on Saturday.)
- Return to regular convention format. Singing from 9:30 - 2:30
Carry-in potluck dinner at noon each day.
